Mariah Carey's Idol Is...

Her mommy!!
With records on top of records under her belt, Mariah Carey admitted that her beloved mother is her #1 Idol during the American Idol Q & A yesterday at UCLA.
The Grammy Award winning songstress said:

“I have to say my mother is the first person I ever heard sing, and she sang all different styles of music, but she started as an opera singer. So I was exposed to [everything]. Starting with #1, my mom.”

Considering that Carey’s mom Patricia could hit all sorts of high notes, we’re not surprised that the singer received such an AH-MAYZING talent.
All we can hope for now is that either her son Moroccan or daughter Monroe follow in their mom’s footsteps!!
