Mariah Carey WELCOMES the haters who say she’s a diva!
In a recent interview, Mariah totally copped to her legendary diva status and proclaimed that she has no problem being a way little self-important to get what she wants!

The momma of two explained:
“I’m still always going to be a diva in certain ways, and I don’t mean that in the bad sense of the word. I just mean, like, if there’s a makeup artist there and they don’t mind touching me up while I’m directing.”
Lolz! “Don’t mind”!
The New York native elaborated on her diva philosophy saying:
“Why not just be yourself?”
Sure, why not!
While Carey brought up a fine example of her divadom, we were more thinking something along the lines of that time she missed last year’s Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting — or when M.C. refused to let photographers take up close shots of her face.
Yep, Mariah is never short on diva! Werk it!
