They added:

“Enquiries are underway to try and locate her. Anyone with information is asked to call police in the North Area Command Unit on 101 and quote ref: 19MIS031063.”

That same day, local police tweeted on their @MPSHaringey account:

“Can you help to find Marina Joyce, 22, missing from #Haringey? Last seen on 31Jul and reported missing to police on 7Aug. Call 101 and quote 19MIS031063 with any info.”

Independent charity Missing People also posted an appeal on the website, writing:

“Marina we are here for you whenever you are ready; we can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe.”

According to BNO News, after the devastating story went viral, two friends said Joyce was believed to be safe. However, authorities could not immediately confirm this.

The personality wrote her last social media comments on the night of June 24, and last posted a video on June 21 — saying another one would be released a week later. But, no new clip has been published.

She has over 3.6 million followers on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter combined.

Back in July 2016, Joyce shocked fans when she posted a video titled “DATE OUTFIT IDEAS,” where they noticed bruises on her arms and back, and panicked looks off-camera. Some even thought she whispered, “help me,” in one shot.

Because of their concern, they posted the hashtag, #SaveMarinaJoyce, out of fear she was kidnapped, abused, or on drugs.

Ultimately, Joyce acknowledged the controversy, and tweeted:

“this is very sweet guys but im okay seriously <3 i love you all so much#savemarinajoyce… Im TOTALLY fine guys, i am feeling very good today and its actually so heartwarming to see so many people care about me”

However, in August 2016, Joyce stunned followers again when she posted a bizarre message about wanting to be called a “God,” and her desire to build a temple in Peru. She penned:

“I wrote on my Twitter that I wanted to be a God like Buddha and that I want people to call me Goddess Marina from now. There is a special particular reason behind this I found a couple secrets about the After Life and I know that I can still contact humans during the afterlife and I want to become this because I want to one day Create a Temple and a Shrine where I am known as God of the Shrine because I would like to spend my time there with people drawing art, doing meditation, understanding people, helping them with their problems, finding them extreme spiritual help and guidance, bringing them closer to Spiritual After-life Gods which can help them to produce magic to do incredible things, so that you’re guaranteed a safe spot in the after-life and you’re promised spiritual protection more so than being a religious person, sacred symbols to represent this, chanting and many fun activities for lots of people to join in on! Crystal healing too, and strong connection with energies, how to fix spiritual danger and to create the most Holy Sacred place on earth due to my magical spiritual connection with spirits: This Temple will be build in Peru, I am thinking Machu Pichu but i’m not too sure where to build my temple.”

We just hope Marina is okay.
