Either Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is a little jealous that his buddy Scotty McKnight is dating Hayden Panettiere OR he just really likes messing with the press.
At the Samsung City of Hope Gala in New York City on Tuesday, he was asked about his feelings on the rookie player’s relationship with the Scream 4 actress and coyly slipped, “Cool.”
Last week, after pictures emerged with Sanchez grabbing lunch with Hayden, rumors surfaced the pair were dating, but the 21-year-old actress quickly squashed the gossip and insisted they were just friends.
However, Sanchez has thrown a curveball into the mix at the gala as he continued to say, “How do you know that I’m not dating Hayden?”
Refusing to elaborate, his job is done and we are now officially CONFUSED! What’s going on? Do we have a little love triangle going on here?
Don’t do this to us, Mark! DON’T DO THIS!!! LOLz!
Either way, we think both of us these football studs are more than lucky to have a gal like Hayden at their side, but we’d definitely like to know which player’s side she is at! Ha!
