Ex-Con Martha Stewart Says Felicity Huffman Looks 'Schlumpy' In Her Prison Attire!

Martha Stewart is coming for Felicity Huffman Macy — and we’re honestly a little surprised by this!

On Tuesday afternoon, Stewart was on stage at Vanity Fair‘s 6th Annual New Establishment Summit in Beverly Hills, and during the course of her talk — with CNN host and event moderator Brian Stelter — the home decor mogul offered up some very surprising thoughts about the former Desperate Housewives actress!

When Stetler asked Stewart — who, of course, has her own very significant experience with prison — whether she thought Huffman had “learned anything” by being in the joint, the homemaking expert clapped back with quite a jab! To awkward laughs from a surprised audience, Stewart said of Huffman (below):

“She should style her outfit a little bit more. She looked pretty schlumpy.”

Yikes! Not a great look, Martha!

Of course, Stewart is referring to recent pics of Huffman that went viral showing her dressed in that drab, dark green prison attire required of inmates at the northern California area federal institution where she’s currently serving her two-week sentence for her role in the infamous, wide-reaching college admissions scandal.

The house and home expert quickly back tracked on that surprisingly superficial and critical fashion comment, adding something more serious by also telling Stetler (below): .

“She made a horrible mistake, and she’s experiencing what happens.”

At least that much is true.

You can watch Martha walk through the whole back-and-forth about the imprisoned actress (below):

Well then!

Stewart did take some well-deserved heat for her comments as they came out this week, with one Twitter user noting Huffman’s crime was wrong — but it could’ve been worse.

“What [Huffman] did was in fact wrong,” the Twitter user argued,”but she didn’t kill anyone! She didn’t rob anyone! There are far more serious criminals out there on the loose than Felicity but oh what the heck! It’s so easy to beat up who’s already on the floor.”

And another alluded to Stewart’s own background with the criminal justice system in criticizing the TV mogul for her “cheap shot” at the actress (below):

“Martha should know better than anyone that inmate dress code is very strict. There is almost zero room to individualize your style. The ball cap and UA shoes are usually not allowed at the camps, so, she’s lucky to be wearing them. I think what you said is a cheap shot.”

There you have it, Perezcious readers!

Was Stewart’s shady comment here in fact a cheap shot?! Or is Huffman fair game for her, if only because Martha has been there, done that?? Sound OFF with your take in the comments (below)…
