Although it would makes sense that Martha Stewart and Paula Deen would be arch nemeses that would have an epic spatula fight to the death were they to ever come face to face, it seems that there’s not total hatred between the two…
While on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Martha finally weighed in on the whole Paula Deen-saster, saying this:
“I feel sorry for Paula Deen. Shes a public figure and I know you have to be extremely careful being a public figure. I don’t really want to say whether I agree with it or not, I just feel that you have to really watch yourself. Especially in this day and age with cameras all over you.”
Martha’s all like: don’t hate the player hate the game! Obviously, Martha has had some trouble notoriety in the past as well (*cough-insider trading-cough*), so we can understand the sympathy. But when asked if it was okay for the Food Network to cancel Deen’s show, she offered up no comment. Inneresting…
