We can get behind this! We’re excited for Hugo, but Marty def has a knack for films that explore the criminal world!
It has just been confirmed that Martin Scorsese is attached to direct a film adaptation of Norwegian author Jo Nesbo’s best-selling crime novel The Snowman!
The book series revolves around “anti-authoritarian, anti-sobriety” detective Harry Hole, who “investigates particularly gruesome killings,” and this particular story has been described as follows:
“…A son finds his mother├óΓé¼Γäós pink scarf wrapped around the neck of a ominous looking snowman. Hole realizes she is the latest victim of a serial killer.”
The screenplay is being penned by World War Z writer Michael Carnahan, and the film is being produced by Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, who are responsible for The Tudors, as well as many other INTENSE projects!
We’ll definitely look forward to this one, Martin! We have no doubt you’ll deliver – as always!
