Seems like this was QUITE the event.
Earlier this month, North Korea dictator Kim Jong Il had a fatal heart attack and passed away.
Today, a massive funeral procession took place in downtown Pyongyang, in which North Korea’s heir to power Kim Jong Eun walked alongside his deceased father’s hearse.
Attendees at the funeral included military generals, party secretaries, and younger officials who became influential while grooming Kim Jong Eun to succeed his father as dictator.
The funeral motorcade took a 25-mile journey through Pyongyang amongst enormous crowds, where a last salute was given to Kim Jong Il, and a military band performed North Korea’s national anthem.
