Matt Brown's Ex-Girlfriend Encouraged Alaskan Bush People Star To Get Professional Help Before His Death

Matt Brown‘s ex-girlfriend did everything she could to get him help before his tragic death.

As you know, the Alaskan Bush People star tragically died by suicide after years of struggles. Although he was estranged from his family at the time, they’re all still devastated by the loss, particularly a woman he’d been dating recently before his death, Jamie.

We previously reported on how the couple’s breakup really emotionally affected Matt prior to his death. And now a new source for TMZ is revealing Jamie played a big role in trying to get the reality TV star some help in the months leading up to the tragedy.

The outlet reports Jamie urged Matt to get professional help. She believed he needed support outside of their relationship, and reportedly felt like she could no longer be the only one being his shoulder during the dark times. Even after their breakup, the source says Jamie still deeply cared about him, and was there for him all she could be.

She even hoped that Matt would eventually be able to overcome his demons so they could work things out in their relationship. Aww… So, so sad.

The insiders made it clear that the breakup between them wasn’t Jamie’s fault, and they say she was “all for him” and his well-being. They said she spent a lot of time and energy trying to help him get through the tough times and navigate his struggles. But she couldn’t do it on her own.

Multiple sources even came out to say Jamie was GREAT for him! They said she was a very positive influence on his life, and echoed the sentiment that she did all she could. They considered her “a blessing” to him, and say she was sweet, quiet, patient, and supportive of him.

Of course, as the sources said, none of this is her fault in any capacity. We really hope she’s doing alright and getting the support she needs during such a difficult time.

Rest in peace, Matt.
