Oh, Magic Matt! The things you do for art!
The recently married Matthew McConaughey spoke candidly to Jay Leno the other day about the trials and tribulations of method acting and readily admitted that getting a full body waxing SUCKS.
That’s right! Even Matt needs a little grooming now and again!
Recounting the first time all his hairs were painfully torn from their pores, Matt said:
“It was like 7:30 in the morning, I go down there, we’re in Hollywood, and I go to this little place in the strip mall. And the place is called Smile… There’s this Russian woman in there, and she’s just as formal as you could be: ‘In the back, clothes off, lay down, turn over!'”
Ruh-roh!! We’re not even sure we want to know the rest…
Okay, we do!
He continued his confessional:
“If you don’t have to do it, don’t ever do this… She’s pouring this glue and stuff all over you, and you’re sitting there and you’re giggling, and all the sudden she lays something on you . . .and it hurts! It does hurt!… And the thing is, after every time she waxed off whatever hair she’s pulling, she says, ‘So sorry, so sorry, so sorry.’ So you just giggle through the tears and hope you only got to do it once.”
We didn’t realize it was a laughing matter!! LOLz!
Now we’re DEFINITELY watching Magic Mike and paying special attention to Matt and Channing Tatum’s half-nekkid bodies, which we’re pretty sure will be looking smoother than a Luther Vandross track!
