The most anticipated featherweight bout in boy band history is only days away and our Underoos just can’t take it!!
One Direction‘s Zayn Malik and The Wanted‘s Max George got into a bit of a scurfluffle on Twitter last week and now neither lad is backing down!
After calling each other a slew of silly names and mocking their rival’s band’s hair, faces, and vocal abilities, Max and Zayn finally came to an agreement on one thing.
The only way to settle their rivalry feud blood vendetta is a showdown at the Z100 Jingle Ball!!
That’s right, the bands will collide on December 7th — exactly 71 years after the bombing of Pearl Harbor — in New York City for an EPIC concert event bout!!
T-Swizzle, Ne-Yo, Ed Sheeran, and the The Great Biberoni are also performing at the holiday event — so you can bet your bra-straps they reserved ringside seats to the showdown!
Speaking to Radio 955 the other day, Max called 1D and Zayn the eff out.
He said:
“I’m not sure what [Zayn’s] problem is to be honest. It started off that I thought we were just having a bit of banter, but he seemed to get a bit serious. I tried to palm it off as being friendly again, but you can only take so many insults and eventually I just said, ‘Alright listen – if you’ve got a problem, come and see me in New York when we’re there doing a gig together and we’ll sort it out’.”
Hot diggity!! We bet the Directioners are friggin’ PISSED!
Referencing Zayn’s STD jab, Max’s bandmate Jay McGuiness added in the quote of the day month.
He added:
“[One Direction’s name-calling is] like when kids in the playground go ‘Poo Breath!’ – rarely has that kid actually eaten feces. I think he was just taking a stab in the dark.”
Yup, Jay. It’s exactly like that.
Ahh!! We can’t believe The Scrapple in the Big Apple is only a week away!!
