McDonald's Will Start Giving Away Books With Happy Meals! Because Knowledge Is Power!

At long last, it looks like you can finally buy your kids a Happy Meal 100% guilt-free!
That’s because starting January 9th, McDonald’s will be offering BOOKS with their Happy Meals! Yes, you read that correctly! BOOKS!!!
The fast food chain is teaming up with nonprofits, Reading is Fundamental and HarperCollins, for the giveaway which will last until January 22nd!

Kids will be able to choose between If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Big Nate: In a Class by Himself, Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses, and Flat Stanley Goes Camping!
We would have thrown some Dr. Seuss in the mix, but that’s just us!
Over the last few years we’ve seen McDonald’s attempt to make their Happy Meals healthier, and it’s great to see them also focusing on the kiddies’ minds!
