Did anybody see THIS couple coming???
We knew things were strained between Megan Fox and her husband Brian Austin Green after it was revealed they were quarantining separately. But we didn’t expect there to be another man in the picture already — and definitely didn’t expect that man to be Machine Gun Kelly!

However, after the unlikely couple was spotted grabbing takeout in Calabasas, pieces of the puzzle started falling into place. Apparently, the duo met while filming their new movie Midnight in the Switchgrass, also starring Bruce Willis. And according to a source, sparks started flying on set right away!
The insider told E! News:
“Megan has been working on a movie with Machine Gun Kelly and gotten close to him. They are hooking up and have been for a little while. She is separated from Brian Austin Green and they are taking time apart as a couple. She has something going on with Machine Gun Kelly that she is excited about.”
Soooo… if they’ve been hooking up for “a while,” does that mean before she separated from her husband? No evidence of that yet, but we also don’t yet know another reason for her separation. Hmm…
Of course, because of coronavirus, production on the film has been temporarily shut down. But these two clearly haven’t let quarantine stand between them — in fact, E! says they’ve been seeing each other “regularly.” The source continued:
“The movie will be starting up again soon and they are happy to get back to work and continue being together.”
(Not sure how “soon” they’ll be back on set, considering LA Public Health expects quarantine to continue to at least July. But hey, we’ve gotta keep hope alive!)
Compounded on all this drama is the cryptic message Fox’s (soon-to-be ex?) husband posted to social media on her birthday:
“Eventually butterflies get bored sitting on a flower for too long. They start feeling smothered. It’s a great big world and they want to experience it.”

If it wasn’t clear enough that Green isn’t actually talking about the beauty of nature, fans were quick to point out that Megan actually has a tattoo about butterflies. (It reads, “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies.”)
The married couple has been down the break up road before. But maybe this time will be the split that sticks? We’ll have to wait and see…
Regardless, it seems we can officially mark this down as another surprising quarantine romance. Hopefully everything turns out for the best for these two!
