She’s totes sorry, LiLo!
Megan Fox didn’t mean your career was destined to follow the same ill-fated trajectory as Marilyn Monroe‘s, she swears!
Megan just issued an apology of sorts on Facebook today after ripping Lindsay Lohan a new bunghole in the most recent issue of Esquire.
The Transformers starlet said:
“[T]here is a reference that is made to Lindsay Lohan that I would like to clarify before it snowballs into something silly… I attempted to draw parallels between Lindsay and Marilyn in order to illustrate my point that while Marilyn may be an icon now, sadly she was not respected and taken seriously while she was still living.
Both women were gifted actresses, whose natural talent was lost amongst the chaos and incessant media scrutiny surrounding their lifestyles and their difficulties adhering to studio schedules etc… It was most definitely not my intention to criticize or degrade Lindsay.
I would never want her to feel bullied, as she does not deserve that… this miscommunication is my fault.”
Aww, Megan’s words certainly appeared heartfelt!
Still, she might have to do more backtracking than that after calling LiLo unreliable AND uninsurable!!
With all this legal dramz, though, we wonder if Lindsay even had time to read the article!!
