What a mess.
As you surely know, Meghan Markle‘s father threw a wrench into the Suits actress’ wedding plans after he announced that he no longer planned to attend her royal wedding to Prince Harry. This news came just after the Hollywood cinematographer was exposed for having staged paparazzi pics ahead of the highly anticipated nuptials.

Understandably, Thomas Markle‘s last minute decision has left the love birds and Kensington Palace blindsided. According to TMZ, the palace went out of there way to make elaborate plans for Mr. Markle’s arrival across the pond. It’s said that the plans included an extensive security detail, access to several events, and high end accommodations.
Still, it sounds like Thomas made the right call in dropping out of the wedding. Hear us out…
On Monday, it was reported that the Markle patriarch is likely hospital bound once more. In case you forgot, Thomas supposedly suffered from a heart attack days before this scandal broke. Per reports, Thomas is once more experiencing serious chest pains, pains that have been triggered by emotional distress.
Although Thomas checked himself out of the General Hospital in Mexico a few days ago, he believes he needs to be admitted to another medical center as he’s allegedly on the verge of another heart attack. To make matters worse, the coronary he recently suffered was his second.
Currently, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland is the frontrunner to give the American divorc├â┬⌐e away on May 19, as the two are extremely close. Meghan’s father has even signed off on Doria walking their shared daughter down the aisle!
Oh, and don’t even suggest Meghan’s half sister Samantha Grant as a contender, since sources say they have “absolutely no relationship.” In fact, it’s believed that Samantha “knows nothing about Meghan’s life.” Miz Grant has even been accused of planting stories in the press, stories that have no basis in fact. Yikes!
As for his current emotional and physical well being, the 73-year-old added:
“I’ve been popping Valium for the pain, especially when I hear about my oldest daughter.”
Smh.
While Thomas has told TMZ that he hasn’t heard from Meghan amid this controversy, The Sun just reported that Harry’s bride-to-be has BEGGED her poppa to change his mind. An insider spilled:
“Meghan is devastated and wants her father to be there. They’re trying to work this out so he will come after all.”
The ginger prince has even blamed himself for this family dramz, as he feels he hasn’t properly protected his fianc├â┬⌐e and her loved ones from the preying press. A confidant admitted to Daily Mail:
“Harry feels guilty that this has happened to someone he loves because they are in a relationship with him. He is devastated. He feels like this is another thing in the wake of him… the problems he causes. He feels that anyone who gets associated with his life ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ this is the price they have to pay. He wants to protect her and this is really difficult for him to swallow.”
Again, this whole thing is such a mess. Our hearts go out to Meghan and Harry during this chaos, and we hope they can still enjoy their upcoming royal wedding!!!
