Meghan Markle is still adjusting to life as a royal!
After all, it was only last May the former Suits star became royalty when she married Prince Harry! And time certainly has flown since as the couple welcomed their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor nearly a year later on May 6.

So it only makes sense the Duchess of Sussex feels like she has been thrown into a new kind of public eye! A source with insider knowledge spilled to People about Meg’s struggle, explaining:
“Meghan has struggled with the intensity of the spotlight. Although she is a former actress, this is on a different level.”
A “different level” indeed!!
Fans of the royal family already know the 37-year-old starlet has been under media scrutiny since her relationship with Harry was rumored back in October 2016.
And it’s only continued as the couple have chosen to keep their royal life more private than say, her in-laws Kate Middleton and Prince William!
Not only have they shared minimal pictures of their first child, along with not revealing the names of Archie’s godparents, but they also seemingly moved away to Frogmore Cottage for more privacy.

Thankfully for the new momma, she can at least lean on the Duchess of Cambridge as an insider recently divulged “there is a sense of [Meghan and Kate’s] relationship strengthening.”
While their experiences joining the family have been different, and despite having separate roles as royalty, they can at least relate to each other more than anyone else!
Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter also chimed in about their bond, adding:
“It illustrated a warm relationship between these women who have young babies and are in similar situations in their lives. Babies are a great leveler. The minute you’re bonding over your stories and sleepless nights, suddenly all the stuff that mattered before doesn’t matter anymore.”
We hope that’s the case!!
After all, this sort of intense spotlight like the first insider was dishing about really has to be something Kate can relate to, especially since the momma of three has been featured in headlines alongside her sister-in-law!
When it’s all said and done, the two could easily become closer than ever.
