They didn’t announce it to the public until a few days after the wedding, but…
According to People, they reportedly shared their huge news with family members at Princess Eugenie‘s wedding — kind of a spotlight stealer for gurl’s big day!
It’s commonly considered a faux pas to break engagement or pregnancy news to others at another person’s big event like a rehearsal dinner or wedding.

We mean, imagine if Kate Middleton had told people in the middle of Harry and Meghan’s nuptials GUESS WHAT THERE’S ANOTHER GEORGE OR CHARLOTTE ON THE WAY… that would have caused quite a stir!
As for why they did it, a source told People on Wednesday it was a perfectly natural choice, saying:
“It was a happy family event, and that’s where happy news gets shared.”
Yeah, but it’s also a very focused event. Focused on the bride. If they really did share at the wedding, then they really did butt in on Eugenie’s thunder.
