Welcome back to social media, Meghan Markle!
The Duchess of Sussex is making her comeback to Instagram, but this time with husband Prince Harry by her side.
The couple’s official joint IG account @sussexroyal is your new go-to destination for work and personal updates on the parents-to-be!

The account officially launched on Tuesday, and it already has a rapidly growing audience of 324,000 followers.
As you may already know, the former Suits star deleted all of her personal social media accounts before officially becoming a Duchess last year. And outside of any official Royal social media handles, members of the U.K.’s most famous family are not permitted to have their own personal online accounts.
So, it’s been quite a while since we’ve heard from Harry and Meghan online in their own words!

The royal message was coupled with nine different photos that highlight their royal humanitarian work as a couple and as individuals.
These include special moments from their royal tour to Australia last fall, Harry’s work with the military and his conservation efforts with elephants, Meghan’s bond with the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen and her growing connection with the public.
The photo gallery ends with a dramatic black-and-white shot of the couple from their tour Down Under as they wave to the crowd while holding hands. We are so in love with this regal shot from their collage (click through below):

We can’t help but point out that this new social media account really came just in time, as the happy couple is expecting their first child together this month!
It has been reported that the Duchess has been advised to “tone it down” lately, after her “lavish” NYC baby shower made headlines in a way that the Crown wasn’t a fan of.
But we hope that call for modesty doesn’t extend to this account because we need all of the precious behind-the-scenes baby moments we can get after Baby Sussex arrives!
Not to mention, this move really speaks to the pair’s autonomy as they prepare to move out of their Kensington Palace cottage and settle into their new home in Windsor later this spring.
New place, new baby, new Instagram account — we’re on board with this!
It’s also worthy to note that Harry and Meghan have been removed from the Kensington Palace Twitter account’s bio, which now only mentions Prince William and Kate Middleton. So, could a separate account be on the way, too?
