Fans Think Meghan Markle Is Secretly Running This Instagram Account!

Last year, months before marrying her Prince, Meghan Markle had to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to join the Royal family.
She had to delete her social media accounts.
While there isn’t an official rule, so far as we know — Twitter didn’t exist when most of this was figured out — none of the other Royals have public accounts.
And we know Meghan isn’t allowed to profess political views, certainly not like she used to when she was a Hillary Clinton supporter during the U.S. presidential election in 2016.

So while it’s unclear if the future Duchess was forced to leave social media, it was without a doubt to conform to her new status.
But now, over a year later Meghan Markle may be back on the ‘gram!
Earlier this month the couple launched Sussex Royal, “the official Instagram account of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
And now fans who’ve been following theorize this isn’t just some assistant putting out press releases on behalf of Meghan and Prince Harry — they think it’s the Duchess herself!
The first post out of the gate certainly made it seem like the couple was going to be less hands on:

Notice the quote attribution? Implying posts will only be the couple’s words when specifically stated as such?
But there have been some clues in subsequent posts making it seem like Meghan herself is taking the lead on this.
Let’s take a look at the account’s latest post, thanking fans for donating to charities “in lieu of sending gifts for the upcoming arrival” of the Royal baby — which they have adorably dubbed Baby Sussex

First up, look at those spellings.
While whoever wrote this clearly thought to use the British spelling “organisations” they didn’t consistently stick with the zed-free versions:

“@littlevillagehq received donations from all over the world (from UAE to Hong Kong and the US), they’ve increased their monthly donors, had a surge in volunteer applications, and re-energized their hard working team of 200+ staff and volunteers”

The U.K. spelling of that word would be re-energised. And in a previous post, the writer does use the Americanized “organization” posting:

“The Duke of Sussex has proudly been patron of UK based organization Well Child since 2007.”

And then there are some full-on American words:

“@Baby2Baby have received over 5,000 products to disperse to children in need, including cribs, books, backpacks, diapers and have received monetary donations from around the globe – from Guadalajara to Italy.”

Brits don’t typically say “cribs” or “diapers” but rather “cots” and “nappies.”
It’s a small thing but something an American trying to sound British might not pick up on.
So does this add up to Meghan going DIY on this IG account?
She was a blogger and active on social media for so long, it makes sense she’d like to get back to doing something interactive — even if she has to pretend she’s not just herself.
What do YOU think, Royal readers??
