Princess Diana may be gone, but she’ll be remembered at her son’s upcoming wedding.
As you surely know, Prince Harry is about to put his bachelor days behind him, as he’s slated to wed American actress Meghan Markle this May. Since this is a major milestone for the ginger prince, it’s not surprising to learn that he’s honored his deceased mother in a number of ways ahead of the nuptials.

For starters, the ring Harry proposed with features diamonds from one of Diana’s brooches! Not to mention, gossip has suggested that the Suits alum may don the late humanitarian’s Spencer tiara at the wedding. In fact, even the royal wedding flowers will pay tribute to Prince Charles‘ ex wife.
According to Elle UK, Markle’s wedding bouquet “will pay tribute to the ├óΓé¼╦£People’s Princess.'” How?? Apparently, the floral arrangement will “be made up of white garden roses to symbolize the royal.” Awwwwww.
This update comes days after Kensington Palace confirmed that London-based florist Philippa Craddock has been tapped to create the floral displays for the royal nuptials. The palace announced on Instagram:
Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen floral designer @philippacraddock to create the church flowers for their wedding├░┼╕ΓÇÖ┬É The displays in St George’s Chapel will feature foliage from The Crown Estate and Windsor Great Park, and will use seasonal plants including branches of beech, birch and hornbeam, as well as white garden roses, peonies and foxgloves. The designs will reflect the wild and natural landscapes from which many of the plants will be drawn. The Royal Parks will also supply pollinator-friendly plants from their wildflower meadows. These plants provide a great habitat for bees and help to sustain healthy and biodiverse ecosystems. ├░┼╕ΓÇ£┬╖PAA post shared by Kensington Palace (@kensingtonroyal) on Apr 1, 2018 at 1:16am PDT
The Sun also weighed in on this report, as they too said the engaged pair will have “white garden roses in memory of Princess Diana” at their marital celebration. Reportedly, the roses will be placed next to peonies — Meghan’s favorite flower — and foxgloves.
We aren’t necessarily shocked to learn this, as last year, Kensington Palace unveiled The White Garden in order to celebrate the life of Prince William and Harry’s mother. You know, the very same garden where Harry and Meghan announced their engagement back in November.
We honestly think that Harry and Meghan’s wedding is going to be a magical affair. Again, only 45 days until the big day!
