Speaking to ET, the MTV personality revealed he’s been emailing back and forth with the momma of three amid her latest troubles. He dished:

“We’ve both been so busy, but more than anything, just wishing her well and praying she’s in the best place she can possibly be.”

The 36-year-old also sounded shocked to hear of the allegations her husband was abusive to her, saying:

“I haven’t been paying that close of attention to it, but we just want her to be as happy as possible and in the safest place possible.”

Nick’s kind words follow more of the AGT family who have come out in support of the Spice Girls alum!

Simon Cowell, who was reportedly the one who convinced Mel to get a divorce, previously told The Sun:

“She’s under pressure, but I think she’s in a good place… If you think about what she’s gone through, how hard she works and how I saw her try to handle this situation, it was astonishing. It really made me think about her as a person, what she’s achieved as a working mum and how she’s managed to balance everything.”

Heidi Klum also expressed her support for her friend, telling ET last week:

“I think it was good for her that we are so busy and that we are here all day, and you see fun acts that make you laugh, so I think that was helpful instead of being on vacation because then you have time to think. We are a family and we take care of each other. We all have each others’ backs, so I think that was good.”

And Howie Mandel also shared:

“Our hearts go out to her. I knew about it before it got announced and some of the things that were happening in her life — she lost her father, her marriage is over. But, you know, she is so strong as a mother and as a professional, and girl power wasn’t just a brand, she lives and eats and breathes it.”

Even Sharon Osbourne opened up about Mel’s divorce drama, telling viewers on The Talk last week:

“In the situation she’s been in for 10 years, it’s not just physical, it’s mental abuse, too. Three years ago, in the final two days of X Factor, she didn’t make the first day, and she was in the hospital, and it was reported in all the papers that said ‘allegedly’ she’s been beaten by her husband. And she came back for the final day, and she had a black eye and bruising everywhere, but she made the final. This has been brewing and people talking for a very, very long time. She’s a good girl. She’s a great mother. She works her bum off.”

It’s good to hear the British star has such an amazing support system and work family!

We’re wishing Mel all the best during this difficult time!
