The producers of America’s Got Talent are apparently sick of Mel B, according to reports out in TMZ this morning, and the production appears ready to kick her to the curb ASAP.
Not only that, though — the producers are already eyeing a specific replacement, as well: Queen Latifah!

That’s right… according to reports out this morning, Mel B’s on-camera feuds with Simon Cowell also go back and extend off camera, and there’s apparently too much baggage there for the amount of money the former Spice Girls star is getting paid to be on the show.
Not surprisingly, Mel’s public, bitter divorce battle with ex Stephen Belafonte has only heightened the tensions on set too, with emotions running high at all times behind the scenes in what sounds like a difficult place to produce TV.
Production reportedly wants Latifah as soon as next season, and is down to kick Mel B to the curb if they can make the switch, but there is one big hurdle: Queen Latifah is under contract with the Fox series Star already.
Considering AGT auditions begin in a little over a month’s time from now… they don’t have a ton of time to make this happen, so if they’re gonna pull the trigger on a switch, it’ll have to happen very, very soon.
