This is what happens when you don’t think about what you say.
Melissa Etheridge recently made some comments about Angelina Jolie’s choice to get a mastectomy, and they were far from complimentary.
However, the rocker has now said she wasn├óΓé¼Γäót calling the actress “fearful” – just her decision.
Which is almost like the same thing, isn’t it?
Etheridge said:
“I don’t have any opinion on what she ‘should have’ done. All are free to choose. I only objected to the term ‘brave’ in describing it.”
That’s true; she never said anything about Angelina directly, but did she really need to?
It seems like Miz Etheridge is also still missing that the brave choice was the one to go public with the information to empower those in similar situations!
As long as someone is helping others, we’ll never understand why people feel the need to tear them down.
