The hits keep on coming for Brad Pitt!
As Perezcious readers know, the 62-year-old actor is estranged from his six kids following an alleged abuse incident on a plane in 2016, which led to his contentious divorce from Angelina Jolie. And most of his children made it crystal clear they want nothing to do with him right now! Zahara, 21, filed paperwork to change her name from Zahara Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Jolie this month. Maddox, 24, also requested to drop “Pitt” from his last name in a court filing in May. Meanwhile, Shiloh, 20, already legally removed Brad’s last name two years ago. And Vivienne, 17, dropped it, though unofficially. Now Knox, 17, is following in his siblings’ footsteps!

A source revealed to Page Six on Friday that the teenager, who turns 18 on July 12, used the name “Knox Jolie” on his diploma after graduating from Fusion Academy in Los Angeles earlier this month! Wow! It is unknown if Knox ever plans to take the next step and legally change his last name! However, it wouldn’t be a shock if he does!
And, of course, Angie is getting the blame for the decision from their kids, who are almost all adults now, following this news! A second source told Page Six that the actress “seems quite pleased with herself about the total success of her long-standing, intense, deliberate effort to alienate her children from their father.” They continued:
“It’s so sad for the entire family that she would use the same weapon of the name change over and over for any other purpose other than to hurt their father. This was her goal and she succeeded.”
However, a third source clapped back! They insisted Brad has no one to blame but himself if their children want to keep their distance from him, explaining:
“Angelina participated in years of family therapy with Brad and the children for everyone to try to heal after the events that led her to file for divorce. If he isn’t close to the kids, it’s because of the harm that was done. He wasn’t honest about his actions, and it affected the trust between them. It’s been very hard for the kids. No one knows, except them, how bad it has been. The children are now adults and make their own decisions, which deserve respect. If they choose to distance themselves from him, it comes from that pain and harm. It’s really horrible that he has tried to paint himself as a victim. When will people start asking real questions about what happened to the kids?”
Perhaps Brad needs to do some soul-searching, make some changes, and stop playing the blame game if he ever hopes to have a relationship with the kids one day!
