The original had Doug Savant as Matt Fielding. And, now, sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that The CW’s revamped version of Melrose Place is also going to have a sexy gay male living in the complex.

Sources tell us that Mean Girls hottie Jonathan Bennett is this close to coming out publicly as gay.

And, unfortunately, we’re also told that Bennett’s relationship with former Kyle XY star Matt Dallas has recently ended.
Did WE have anything to do with it’s demise??? That would suck!
Oh, well, if Jonathan is now single, on the market and coming out soon, maybe he should date Perez? Ha!!!
As for Dallas, we’re hearing he has NO intentions of coming out publicly any time soon. Lame! He won’t be getting cast as the main gay in Melrose Place then!
