Solid.

In 1927, this cool German dude Fritz Lang directed the most expensive picture of day. If you’re a kid from the 80s, you’ve actually probably seen the flick as it was re-released in theaters in 1984 with a whole rock score. Performances by Pat Benatar, Freddie Mercury and Bonnie Tyler guided the story of a sci-fi, urban dystopia flick and became a smash hit with audiences.

Now, the movie is being re-released AGAIN to theaters, in honor of the movie finally making it to DVD/Blu-Ray. The flick, dubbed, Giorgio Moroder Presents Metropolis, will have a roughly 20-city theatrical run before releasing on disc on November 15th.

Good stuff! Definitely a great way to relive some of the best music from the era as well as Lang’s futuristic take!
