Step aside, Carrie Bradshaw!
There’s a old NEW Carrie that everyone will soon be talking about!!
It looks like MGM has come to a final decision as to who’ll be nabbing the lead role in Stephen King‘s Carrie remake, based on King’s bestseller and the 1976 film!!!
And by nabbing, we mean getting buckets of pigs’ blood poured on them, of course!
The studio and film’s director Kim Peirce made the formal offer today to actress Chloe Moretz to play Carrie White: the shy, telepathic high schooler out for vengeance.
Dakota Fanning was rumored to also have been in the running for the role, but the studio had their eyes set on casting the (500) Days Of Summer actress!!
The film plans to start shooting this year and will soon be casting Carrie’s cray cray mom, as well as the supporting cast.
We CANNOT wait for this remake!!! It’ll be interesting to see an updated FEATURE version of the classic horror film!!!
Who do U think should play Carrie’s mom?
