Mia Farrow's Hunger Strike For Darfur

Mia Farrow is taking a very serious stand for her beliefs!
The actress and avid activist against genocide began a hunger strike on Monday due to the Sudanese government’s decision to ban all international organizations from aiding the people of Darfur.
Farrow explains her fast “as a personal expression of outrage at a world that is somehow able to stand by and watch innocent men, women and children needlessly die of starvation, thirst and disease.”
Mia is hoping for world leaders to “help build a credible peace process” so the violence in Darfur can end once and for all.
Good for her!
Let’s hope the actress’ protest is able to achieve the bring attention to the change she’s vying for!
