Michael J. Fox joined forces with a host of comedians, musicians, filmmakers, actors and politicians on Saturday night to raise money for fighting Parkinson’s disease.
“A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinson’s…” combined music and comedy to raise $4.1 million for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson├óΓé¼Γäós Research!
The evening at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel New York City was hosted by The Daily Show‘s John Oliver and featured comedian Mike Birbiglia with special guest Ricky Gervais!
Guests were also entertained by rapper Kid Cudi and special musical guest Joan Jet, who was able to lure Michael onto the stage for a rare Back To The Future moment where he shredded his guitar alongside the rock icon.
Sounds like a blast and we wish we were there!
