Michael Jackson's Former Manager Describes His Longtime Propofol Abuse In New Book.

This is just heartbreaking.
As the Conrad Murray trial resolved itself this week, Michael Jackson‘s former manager, Frank Cascio, revealed in a new book about his time with the pop legend that Propofol, the drug that eventually took his life, was introduced to him as early as 1999.
According to an advanced copy of the manuscript, Jackson started taking Demerol in 1984, when he burned his head during a Pepsi commercial shoot. It became more of a regular habit during the 1993 Dangerous tour.
However, it was in 1999, after a stage accident in Munich, when he was introduced to Propofol, and when Cascio approached his siblings about his slowly-growing addiction to the drug in 2001, they tried to intervene, but he “simply pushed them away.”
Cascio sadly concludes that Michael “died in his endless quest to attain some inner peace.”
We hope that wherever he is now, he has found the peace that seemed to evade him during his time on Earth.
