Better late than never!
Lindsay Lohan and her pops have endured their share of father-daughter speed bumps, but he won’t let their historically awful relationship prevent him from being by his baby girl’s side when she most needs him!
Michael Lohan is in fact taking full responsibility for his daughter’s current problems with drugs and alcohol.
He recently gave a candid interview detailing why Lindz’s substance abuse problems are not even her fault!!!
Michael explained:
├óΓé¼┼ôI don├óΓé¼Γäót think she should have taken any of the blame for what happened to her. It├óΓé¼Γäós my fault and Dina’s fault. We put her in the middle of the divorce. Now it├óΓé¼Γäós up to me and Dina to make this better.”
We aren’t sure whether Michael and Dina Lohan are still in a position to “make this better,” as their daughter is now a full-fledged adult, but his sentiment sounds heartfelt!
Ironically enough, Lindsay swears she doesn’t even blame them at all!
Either way, Daddy dearest believes LiLo is committed to her sobriety this time!
He continued:
├óΓé¼┼ôThe healing in our family has really helped a lot. We really came together in helping her. I think she has really turned a corner on this. Lindsay is back to who she was, a very kindhearted and compassionate person. This is different than in the past She has finally surrendered and is taking her life seriously.”
We hope Lindsay takes her life seriously! It’s the only one she has!
Unless she’s secretly a cat! They reportedly have nine!
