Michelle Obama Dons A Purple Oscar De La Renta Dress While Visiting The Queen -- Is This A Subtle Tribute To Prince??

Michelle Obama
A vision in purple!
President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama visited Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip at the Windsor Castle on Friday for a belated birthday luncheon celebrating her Majesty.
And while we know FLOTUS has one of the most well-planned wardrobes on the planet — we can’t help but wonder if Michelle’s embroidered magenta and violet Oscar de la Renta dress is somehow a tribute to yesterday’s passing of Prince.
As you know, the Purple Rain music legend died on Thursday in his Minnesota home. Many fans and colleagues have been honoring the late musician by wearing his signature color — purple.

Whether or not there’s a connection here, the 52-year-old stunned in this colorful ensemble that was paired with black kitten heels, a black clutch, and a Narciso Rodriguez coat.
Meanwhile, the President looked classic in a black suit with a blue striped tie.
As for the birthday princess Queen, the 90-year-old dressed in a pale blue/lavender suit and her signature pearls.
What a royal affair!
The Obama’s are scheduled for a visit with Prince William and Kate Middleton later tonight, so we can’t WAIT to see what fashion is in store for us!
