As if the photos weren’t already enough to send the sports world into a total tailspin, now there’s actual video footage of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini together during that headline-making boat outing in Tennessee back in 2021. And yes, the timing of it all is exactly why people cannot stop talking about this scandal!

TMZ Sports dropped the newly surfaced footage on Thursday, less than a day after first revealing details about the pair’s private lake excursion. In the clip, the New England Patriots head coach and the former ESPN reporter can reportedly be seen walking along a dock at a private boat rental company in Putnam County, Tennessee. Vrabel was dressed casually in a dark T-shirt and blue swim trunks while Russini wore an oversized tee and green shorts. What really has people buzzing, though, is the fact that Russini appeared (very) visibly pregnant at the time.
According to reports, the outing happened in June 2021, when Russini was allegedly around seven months pregnant with her first child. At that point, she had already married husband Kevin Goldschmidt less than a year earlier. The couple would eventually welcome their son Michael in August 2021.
And apparently this wasn’t just some quick stop by the lake. Sources told TMZ Sports the pair rented the boat for two to three hours! Documents reportedly showed both Vrabel and Russini signed waivers before boarding the vessel. Despite concerns about privacy, Vrabel allegedly agreed to pose for one photo as long as it stayed private. Welp… so much for that.
Of course, this latest revelation only adds fuel to an already explosive controversy that has been spiraling for months. Fans will remember that Page Six previously published photos of Vrabel and Russini looking very cozy together at an upscale resort in Sedona, Arizona, earlier this year. The pair were photographed embracing, holding hands, and hanging around the pool together back then.

And then came even more drama. Weeks later, additional photos surfaced allegedly showing the pair inside a New York City bar back in March 2020, where eyewitnesses claimed they were “kissing” and “all over each other.” That report really sent the internet into overdrive because Vrabel was already married at the time and Russini would later marry Goldschmidt that same year.
The fallout has been intense. Russini resigned from The Athletic after the outlet launched an internal investigation into her conduct. Meanwhile, Vrabel has admitted the situation caused major strain in both his personal life and professional world.
Now, with actual footage from the boat outing entering the chat, this saga is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.
