A-list actresses have to stick together.
It’s been a rough week for poor Natalie Portman. She’s come under some really heavy fire from her dance double on Black Swan, Sarah Lane, who insisted she did more of the actual dancing than Natalie. Lucky for Natalie, who is really too pregnant to have to deal with this kind of drama, her friends and costars are defending her performance.
Today, Mila Kunis spoke to sources to vehemently deny Sarah’s claim that Natalie didn’t put in as much effort as she. She told sources:
“Natalie danced her a** off. I think it’s unfortunate that this is coming out and taking attention away from [the praise] Natalie deserved and got…[Lane] wasn’t used for everything. It was more like a safety net. If Nat wasn’t able to do something, you’d have a safety net. The same thing that I had — I had a double as a safety net. We all did. No one ever denied it.”
But no one ever said how much they were used either. Still, we’re going with the majority on this one. Natalie is a very dedicated actress – we don’t think she would ever let someone else do the work for her if she could do it herself.
Girl’s just looking for some attention. Psht!
