She’s so good to her Smilers!
Miley Cyrus is busy touring the country with her Bangerz peeps, but before going to Xcel Energy Center, she stopped to make a sick fan’s day!
Lulu Martinez is a central Minnesota girl who is a 2-time leukemia fighter, and is one of Miley’s biggest fans.
The high school senior, nicknamed Lulu, was diagnosed with the disease when she was just 9 years old, but after three years of chemo, she was cancer-free.
That is, until earlier this month when she started to feel run down again.
And, now that she has to battle this horrible disease yet again and lose her hair, the young girl was worried that she would miss Miley’s concert before her 18th birthday.
Thankfully, her incredible sister Brittany took charge and started a Twitter campaign to get Lulu to meet Miley when she hit their city. . A couple of classmates even made tribute videos that feature the whole school chanting “We love Lulu.”
Despite the fact that she must undergo more chemotherapy and possibly even a bone marrow transplant, her mother says her daughter is as strong as a Wrecking Ball, adding:
“A wrecking ball is indestructible. It can go through anything.”
And, guess what? Miz Miley DID take the time to meet Lulu and posed with her in this AH-dorable pic (above)!
Lulu described the experience as:
“Screaming, can’t breathe, is this actually happening? Stuff like that.”
So, what is she going to do now? She said:
“I’ll probably just keep following her on Twitter like I usually do and obsessing like I usually do.”
Ha! Now, THAT’S a true fan!
