This is kind of bizarre!
Miley Cyrus bailed on her New Year’s Day Miami South Beach Outdoor Festival performance, and the promoters of the event are suing to get their money back!
Apparently, a concert promotion company paid a woman who presented herself as Miley’s booking agent $125,000 to lock up the pop star for an appearance.
So, the company wired the money to an account where it was going to stay until the deal was done.
Then, Miley didn’t show up, and the bank account was empty!
The unnamed woman said she was being a middlewoman for the event and Miley’s agents, and that she gave them them ca$$$h.
But she reportedly isn’t even connected to the person who books the pop star’s shows!
Curiouser and curiouser!
At least for Mileybird, this is one controversy that doesn’t directly involve her!
