Sinead O’Connor may be through writing letters to Miley Cyrus, but she isn’t through with the record industry at large!
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer says she herself still experiences the same sexual exploitation she alleged Miley is victim to. She says:
“Every single day. The music business is corrupt├óΓé¼┬ªIt’s full of nothing but vampires and pimps.”
Eesh! Well, obvi Miley didn’t feel that way! She never did come around to Sinead’s way of thinking. She’s too busy being Miley right now!
But Sinead thinks some good came of their feud, if only good for mental health awareness. She says:
“What was more important that came out of the Miley thing was being able to conversate about mental health and human rights. I think she was actually very helpful. The two of us, without meaning to, did quite a good job in terms of creating conversation about something really, really important.”
Well, we’re not sure how much anyone learned from the fight, but we guess like Miley and Sinead, we’ll just have to agree to disagree!
As long as there are no hard feelings. Or vampire bites. Or pimp slaps. LOLz!
