Plenty of star power came out in El Lay on Friday night to support the first annual Global Action Awards Gala.
Hilary Duff, Rebecca Romijn, Anne Archer, Katherine McPhee, and America Ferrera were just a few of the famous faces on the red carpet at the event.
During the ceremony, Miley Cyrus won the Global Action Youth Leadership Award for her involvement in charities like the Blessings in a Backpack program and the Get Your Good On campaign, both designed to help children.
After winning, the teenage pop superstar told the crowd of other celebrity activists:
├óΓé¼┼ôI want [kids] to do something they love, not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that├óΓé¼Γäós the right thing to do or what their parents want or what├óΓé¼Γäós important to people around them, but what├óΓé¼Γäós on their heart.”
