The reality star real estate broker surprised fans Sunday with a brutally honest Instagram post about his hidden battle with depression and suicidal thoughts. He wrote:
“For the past year I have been struggling with depression and during the last three months all I can think of – day and night – is putting an end to it all.”
Explaining that the recent high profile deaths of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain convinced him he needed to be honest about his feelings, to remind everyone the same internal struggle is happening inside a great many people, “regardless of who they are and what they have or haven’t accomplished.”

The Puerto Rico native tried to explain how someone battling these feelings could ultimately choose such a tragic end — and how he’s getting through it.
