We’ve been watching the live feeds of the Lindsay courtroom drama since it started, and Michael Lohan took to the press stand afterwards.
He started off saying that he wasn’t going to be talking to the press, but decided that he needed to because of something that had just happened to him while saying goodbye to Lindsay before she got on the elevator.
Michael then started in on placing blame for his daughters problems directly on his and his ex-wife Dina Lohan‘s divorce.
We agree that it probably is a big part of it, but not all of it.
He brought it up because while he was about saying his goodbyes, Dina squared off against him getting on the elevator with his daughter, which is something he claims he wasn’t about to do.
We agree that if true, that that’s really kind of a mean and vindictive thing to do to someone who is just seeing his daughter off, but he hasn’t been always been the shining example of a daddy to her either.
It is nice, however, to see him wholeheartedly agree with the judge’s comments, as he was asked about them by the press. It does seem like this whole ordeal is getting him focused back on Lindsay’s health and well-being!
But at the end of his thoughts he circled back around, and he said:
“I didn’t wanna do this, but that really pissed me off.”
Referring to his ex-wife, of course, and that was the last thing he said before leaving the press to discuss the things he said.
It really is sad to see a family in such turmoil.
