Mindy Kaling has been known to laugh at herself. After all, all good comedians do!
And, as a celebrity, it was only a matter of time before she had a little wardrobe malfunction! The 36-year-old’s dress just couldn’t keep it together — literally — while she was shooting a scene for The Mindy Project.

Being the good sport that she was, the sitcom star took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a silly snap (above) of the aftermath of her seam splitting, writing:
“When you split your dress doing a bit ’cause you have a big butt then have to be sewn back in. #TheMindyProject”
The funny lady explained the clothing casualty was all for the sake of physical comedy! LOL! Now that’s commitment!
Besides, from the looks of it they must have been able to save the dress! So, as long as the show got the shot, the garment was fixed, and Mindy embraced her mishap, that’s really all that matters, right?!
