We need MORE people to stand up like this!
Minnesota Vikings star, and also totally handsome guy, Chris Kluwe, has come out for marriage equality!
He’s asking fans to vote against a state ballot initiative that would change the constitution to define marriage only between a man and a woman!
And he has NO problem doing video and radio ads for Minnesotans for Equality.
Here’s what he said:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóve always believed that people are inherently the same and should have the same rights and equal protection under the law. It really doesn├óΓé¼Γäót matter what you do with who or whom as long as you├óΓé¼Γäóre not infringing on someone else├óΓé¼Γäós rights. Everyone should be free to live their own life however it makes them happy.
“For me, it├óΓé¼Γäós always been about justice and doing what├óΓé¼Γäós right. People should treat each other the way they want to be treated and that├óΓé¼Γäós basically what life boils down to.”
This is so freaking fab that we can’t even stand it!!
We LOVE that he’s taking a stand like this for basic human rights!!
The world needs more Chris Kluwe!
