Another family member is coming forward to call Miranda Barbour a liar. This time, it’s her sister, Ashley Dean.
Ashley told a local Pennsylvania paper this week that Miranda’s claims of killing up to 22 people are completely untrue!
The 19-year-old has been charged with the murder of Troy LeFerrara along with her husband, Elytte. After the couple was arrested, Miranda spilled that there were nearly two dozen more victims out there!
The story earned her the nickname of “Dexter Killer├óΓé¼┬¥ which might be what she wanted all along!
Ashley says her sister is a huge fan of the Showtime series and that the only reason she did all this was to try and be more like the serial-killing star of the show!
Ashley explained:
“If you listen to what she is saying, she is using descriptions from the show. Miranda is just saying these things.├óΓé¼┬¥
Serial killer or not, it sounds like Miranda Barbour is still one sick individual, who we remind you, IS on trial for killing at least one person!
Her father made similar accusations about her back in February, also stating that his daughter made her murder spree up!
At the end of the day though, Miranda’s family is just devastated to see one of their own do something like this.
Ashley admitted:
“I’m just sad. I really thought my sister was getting her stuff together. She had a child, a job, a car she bought on her own and a whole life ahead of her. It breaks my heart to see my baby sister in this.├óΓé¼┬¥
