So we reported earlier that the owners of the jewelry shop that’s after LiLo for allegedly stealing one of their necklaces has sold the infamous security tape that is integral to the case.
They claim they they needed the money because nobody wants to go to the jewelry shop while they’re in the limelight.
Well, some more information has surfaced about it.
The new info claims that a lawyer that represents the jewelry contacted Lindsay’s to get THAT copy of the tape back, in what can only be viewed as an attempt to remove all copies before they sold it to jack up the selling price!

The jeweler needed to keep every other copy of the tape off the market or it would jeopardize the lucrative sale of the tape that has grossed more than $35,000.
[A]n attorney representing the jeweler spoke to Lindsay’s lawyer as deals were being made to sell the video. Lindsay’s lawyer is not happy about the tape being sold and had no part in the sale, it is important to note. (The prosecution is also extremely unhappy about the sale.)
Terrible.
It’s looking more and more likely that this whole thing is about financial gain for the jewelers, at LiLo’s expense. Which is horrible, because they’re just adding to the hurdles that poor girl has to jump on her road to recovery!
