Kube, who was in the middle of discussing the breaking news surrounding Turkey’s troops, handled her little one’s interruption like any parent would do: a good laugh and some multi-tasking as she tried to get back to a more pressing subject. She shared:

“Excuse me. My kids are here — live television!”

MSNBC shared a clip of the viral moment with the tweet:

“Sometimes unexpected breaking news happens while you’re reporting breaking news.”

One colleague, Katy Tur, responded with more support for the #WorkingMom, writing:

“I couldn’t love this more. You’re amazing.”

And Julia E. Ainsley, a fellow correspondent, responded with:

“Mother of twins and best on the beat. @ckubeNBC does it all.”
