There were many who were shocked yesterday to learn that Heidi Montag‘s camp is making accusations against the creator of her show, The Hills, charging alleged sexual harassment. According to Heidi, Adam DiVello has been very inappropriate with her since she returned to the show after her multiple cosmetic surgeries.
It should be good for Adam to know that despite these claims, MTV stands behind him 100%, as evident from the statement they released this morning regarding the subject.
An MTV spokesperson says:
“We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit. Adam not only created ‘The Hills’ and ‘The City,’ launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment.”
Not only is MTV taking a stance behind Adam, but some of his cast members are as well, like former star, Lauren Conrad. It was rumored that they had had their own inappropriate relationship once upon a time, but today, she simply puts forth her opinion that Heidi’s claims are lies.
She released her own statement saying:
“Similar to most of my fellow MTV cast mates, I am in utter shock at the allegations made against Adam DiVello. Not only are they completely absurd but they are 100% without merit. Adam is a true professional and a wonderful person to work for.”
That’s two. Now, we’re just waiting to hear from Adam himself. We want to hear his side of the story, as these are some pretty hefty allegations and its best to have all the facts.

Update: We have received the following statement from Adam’s side:
“Mr. Divello denies the allegations and refers to the following statement issued by MTV: “We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam Divello are completely false and without merit. Adam not only created ‘The Hills’ and ‘The City,’ launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment.”
