Just after news broke that Clare Crawley was seemingly back on Twitter, more Bachelorette tea has been spilled!!
ICYMI, news broke over the weekend that the 39-year-old was threatening to quit the show after a land-speed-record love connection with contestant Dale Moss, and rumor was she was set to be replaced by Tayshia Adams. The rumor perfectly explained why suddenly last week producers had to call in a handful of emergency “backup contestants” — they needed a full plate for a new Bachelorette!
After Clare “liked” a tweet about Adams taking over as the season’s lead on Sunday evening, speculation went into overdrive, and now even more insight has come out about the future of the show!

A source close to the situation confirmed the to E! News the season WILL shift from Clare to Tayshia halfway through in an unprecedented move:
“The producers have told her that the season will still lead with Clare and her short-lived journey, and will show Clare falling in love with one of her suitors. Clare will then conclude her journey and announce that Tayshia is the lead.”
Wow!!
An insider has also confirmed the news with Us Weekly, so things could really be taking a more dramatic turn than they usually do! Their source says the hairstylist will exit the season early with Moss, allowing the 29-year-old — who’s already on location filming in Palm Springs, California — to step in for the rest of the season to hopefully find her match!
A two-Bachelorette season! What a twist!
Things got off to a rocky start earlier this year after Clare’s season was significantly delayed thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, with a majority of the romantic suitors being replaced before filming finally began in July at the La Quinta Resort.
But it seems that things didn’t turn out so bad after all! Apparently Crawley is not only in love with the NFL alum…
She’s already ENGAGED!!
Wow, that is SO fast! Per a Life & Style source, the two “won’t say exactly when cupid struck,” but fans have speculated the two got into contact even prior to filming:
“People are wondering if it was love at first sight when she and Dale met up in Palm Springs two weeks ago.”
A separate insider says the two would be “a great match.” So what do we know about him so far?! The confidant says he is “super close” with his siblings and “really cares” about his family:
“[He] obviously loves working out, sports, of course, and anything involving health and fitness. He’s very cautious about what he eats and likes to try new healthy things. He also loves dogs.”
Sounds like a great guy. Congrats Clare and Dale!!
We know about Clare’s past with Juan Pablo Galavis, which was documented during season 18 of The Bachelor, but as for Dale he was in a “serious” relationship with pro golfer Seema Safekar, the source added.
ABC has yet to comment on the news, but we have a feeling it might not be long before we get a concrete answer about what’s going on!!
