While Mark Kerrigan, Nancy Kerrigan’s brother, was acquitted from charges linking him to his father’s death, he was sentenced to two and a half years today for assaulting his 70-year-old father.
Nancy plead with the judge:
“None of us has had a chance to grieve for my father. Please send him home with us today so we can grieve as a family.”
Mark also made a plea:
“I lost my father, and I miss him very much. I’d like the opportunity to go home with my family.”
Mark will be eligible for parole in six months.
Hopefully he learns a lesson from his sentence.
