Natasha Richardson‘s son is paying tribute to the fallen star.
On Monday Daniel Neeson, son of the Parent Trap actress and Liam Neeson, took to Instagram with a black-and-white portrait of his mother, who died in 2009 at just 45 years old. Reflecting on the loss, he emotionally wrote:
“15 years since you’ve left this plane onto forever more. I look forward to re uniting one day but for now I take solace in knowing you’re beside me every step of the way. Hopefully, I’m making you proud.”
Aw! He just wants his momma to be proud of him…

The 27-year-old actor went on to reflect on their shared love of margaritas while referencing his tequila brand De-Nada Tequila, adding a sweet (and probably a little sour) memory:
“I think you would definitely be proud of my margarita skills. She was the OG margarita mama! As a kid, I used to ask her for a sip of hers, and she would gently say not till you’re older. Little did she know I would one day start my own tequila brand and have way too many margaritas at my finger tips.”
Hah! What a sweet way he can stay connected to Natasha now. Concluding the meaningful tribute, Daniel mused:
“My aunt [actress Joely Richardson] who always brightens my day, said to me this week that we sometimes forget that we’re on an ever spinning planet. Change is inevitable, and we must embrace it with open arms. If you’re a believer or not in quantum physics, the past, future and present coexist. We’re all interconnected here and over there through love. The greatest life force. choose it above all else.”
So powerful. We cannot imagine how difficult it must be to carry on without his beloved matriarch, but it’s clear the actress is still living on with him. See the full tribute (below):
Andy Cohen, who also paid tribute to his late friend Natasha on his own IG account, commented on Daniel’s post, writing:
“Love you so much Danny. And so proud of you. Your mom would LOVE your margaritas, and she was the supreme connoisseur!”

For those that don’t know, Natasha died of blunt force trauma in a terrible fall while skiing in Quebec. Along with Daniel, she shared her 28-year-old son Micheál with Liam. Sending love to all her family and friends as they mourn her passing on this difficult anniversary. R.I.P.
