Sources are confirming that former co-chair of NBC, Ben Silverman, has just sold a pitch to his former stomping grounds. The show, titled Party People, is being described as a modern-day Taxi. The premise involves a group of under-employed entertainers who are forced to work for children’s parties.
Ha! The cynicism practically writes itself!
This could be the pick-me-up in the comedy department NBC so desperately needs!
